Urban Wellness Clinic

We managed to pull this one off with a very small crew, chasing a runner through the streets of Brooklyn and lower Manhattan with a DJI Ronin rig in hand and absolutely no time to slow down. The shoot was built around movement. Sprinting down sidewalks, jumping curbs, while trying to stay locked into the rhythm and momentum of the runner and keeping everything smooth.

The DJI Ronin and a small camera slider gave us the ability to move fast and stay physically connected to the action. At the time, lightweight gimbal filmmaking was relatively new, and shoots like this opened up a completely different way of working.

By the end of the production we were quite sore. Luckily, there was a professional physical therapist on hand!
